I have been adding chia seeds to a lot of my foods recently! Oatmeal, yogurt, smoothies, chia seeds blend easily into almost any food. I'll do a longer post about the chia seed sometime soon, but I love them because they keep me really full for hours! Try adding them to your morning smoothie, you won't be hungering for that 10 o'clock snack. Just be sure to enjoy your smoothie right after adding the chia seeds. If you want too long, you'll have to use a spoon!
I also love using Greek yogurt in my morning smoothies because they lend a good serving of protein without the grittiness of a traditional protein powder.
1 container Chobani Banana
1/2 cup blueberries
3-4 ice cubes
1 tablespoon chia seeds
1/4-1/2 cup skim milk
Combine all ingredients in a blender and pulse until smooth. Serves two.
